Dorm LifeThe Kentucky School for the Blind provides residential dormitories in Evans and Howser Halls for those students who reside on campus during the school week. The dormitory units are designed to provide a safe, nurturing atmosphere. Residential students stay on campus five nights per week. Their week begins on Sunday evening and ends on Friday afternoon. Houseparents are assigned to the dorms to provide student supervision. They assist students with their daily care and special needs that may arise and they teach and reinforce daily living skills that are sequential and age appropriate.
